Palestine!

O Palestine ! O Palestine!

I bleed and weep for you........... tears roll from my eyes and I cry and cry!

Palestine, how far can pain be endurable?

Palestine how far can human beings be blind?

Who will sweep these thorns from cheeks of children?

Who will choke the hands of death?

How far blood will spill?

O Palestine! O Palestine!

Let the pain turn into panacea!

Hope neevr dies and darkest of the nights have to give way to dawn!

We have to bleed , we have to sacrifice we have to keep on walking!

Blood will not be wasted!

We will create gardens of hope and love not of revenge!

Although we are under fire , but fires have their limits also!

Thoughts on Understanding Pakistan's Cultural Landscape

Nice, remember attacks of an ethnic party in Karachi?Remember threats to reporters of Jang recently?Remember when hawks of so-called mullah parties threaten media?Remember attacks on Geo office? We are not always right, we commit errors and mistakes and we should learn to be rational and not try to defend acts of our supporters . We should get out of dhera bazi! All animals are equal but some are more equal!

t is not raising questions against any one's honesty or dishonesty. Going back to history this same Mumtaz Bhutto under Bhutto in 1970's sowed seeds of linguistic hatred and fighting in Sindh and Bhutto supported him despite the riots in city and objections by many cabinet members of that time , (see Dr. Mubasher Hussian's Mirage of Power).I remember Nizam Ud Din Auleya 's saying if you also place thorns in the path of a person who places thorns in your way then in whole world will be thorns. In Sindh no doubt Mumtaz Bhutto is known for sowing seeds of regional biases, but this can prove counter productive in long run.

Media represents the society's views .. albeit in a selective way... The cultural realities of Pakistan can be done away in a flash of eye.
Nice, these conspiracies are our own follies and our own ideas of grandeur and a cliche statement, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. As a student of Pakistan polity, I am amazed at the slogans of democracy , when the power accumulation is only purpose of all the subsequent rulers military or dictators alike!reasons are also politicians but the real culprit the framework of our state based upon colonial ethos and constitutional legacy of Indian Act of 1935. It is based upon contradictions and we always mutilate its face and then claim democracy, security and many many other issues.Conspiracies are easy way to divert attention from our own failures and when we do,nt want to resort to introspection then "conspiracy theory" is the easiest task! and alas Muslims have become the most avid lovers of such theories... liberals and conservatives alike!

eudal society, mullah controlled minds, authoritarian structures of society. Retrogressive attitudes of social expression. Increasing religious extremism. Intolerance, hypocrisy, desire for power accumulation, gender discrimination, caste ridden social fabric,Power hungry elite, militarized society.have you ever researched how organized is the influence of hidden powers but with clear agenda to control the opinion making of our society?

they consider themselves hidden but broader research shows that how the minds in Pakistan are poisoned on the name of ethnicity, religion , politics, language, sectarianism and lot more.Heard of Pavlov's experiments?

Yea, politicians are here targeted especially and singled out. It is wrong and we fail to take overall critical stock of social downfall.

these biases are intrinsic to our fractured and polarized society and lack of common space is being overtaken by jahil mullahs and already media... led by electronic media in pAksiatni society.

Nights

The nights have there own rythym untouched by our own flow!
